This building used to be an old CPK restaurant. It gives the vibe of a diner. The menu is large and "diner-ish." salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta entrees, milk shakes & sweets. Three of us dined here. The server was very friendly & when asked, she told us her favorites. Steak on a stick: nicely flavored, but a bit dry. No sauce, so I dipped in ketchup. Not the best. Fries were nice and crisp. Meat Loaf: No flavor, bland. Large chunks. Came with a brown gravy. Onion rings were very crispy. Fish fry: Fish was lightly breaded. Fish didn't have a lot of flavor. Out of the three of us, two of us will give the restaurant another chance.

Menu variety is great. Service is attentive and friendly Prices are reasonable Mixed drinks are just ok though. Love coming to this place!

I do not want to leave a 5 star rating because it is already so busy it is hard to get in!! We finally tried lucky Lou's one afternoon around 2 pm. It was packed but we found an empty booth. You seat yourself and just be patient they will notice and come by and say hi. The afternoon we went we only saw 2 wait staff so we just decided to be patient. (Our 2nd visit they had several servers!) WOW!!! Glad we stuck around. My husband ordered the patty melt and said it was the best he has ever had. I ordered a western burger with onion ring and BBQ sauce. The burger came looking like a burger photographed off of a food magazine. I could barely get my mouth around it and it was one of the best hamburgers I have had. The fried pickles were delicious and a large portion for just 2 people. Highly recommend if you are over in East Mesa.

We came here for breakfast. The place was very clean. Staff made you feel welcomed. Food was good. I had the AZ breakfast burrito. It was good but I'll get something different next time. We all left full, happy and wanting to come back again soon.

Food: 4/5 Chicken Fried Chicken: The chicken cutlet was a generous portion with a crispy breading and tender meat. The country gravy is chunky and creamy which adds richness and depth to the dish. If you want to take a nap, this meal is the perfect caloric catalyst for a siesta. Overall, jokes aside, the dish is delicious and lives up to the name of the restaurant.

Wow! I really liked this place. Lucky Lou's is a Casual American restaurant located in the Dana Park Shopping Mall. I decided to stop in by myself and grab a bite to eat after a legal appointment. The atmosphere is that of a modern sports bar but with a diner feel. You walk in and seat yourself, and the waitresses take care of it from there. I don't know what my servers name was, but she was really friendly and attentive. There's a wide variety of American menu items, but I went simple and ordered the Cheeseburger with fries. The food came pretty quickly and was piping hot. I was actually super impressed with the Cheeseburger. It was large, cooked to perfection, and piled high with fresh toppings. The bun was buttery and the burger had excellent flavor. The fries were super crispy and the buttermilk ranch was some of the best I've ever had. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Especially since it was only $12 for a delicious and filling burger, which is a rarity nowadays.

We stopped it for dinner last night. Our first visit to this restaurant after driving by for a couple of months. Restaurant was super clean inside and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu had a nice selection of meals. And the prices were reasonable also! I ordered a cup of the French onion soup and it was really tasty. Our friends ordered the fried pickles and they were not the pickle chips but like pickle slices. They were very good and the batter was perfectly done. My wife ordered the French dip sandwich with sweet potato fries and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with tater tots. Everything was delicious. I would say the only thing that could have been a little bit better about my meal was if the tater tots were cooked just a little longer. Will definitely be stopping back here again.

I kept hearing how amazing Lucky Lou's was, so we had to try It! Now I want to be as kind as I can because the service was GREAT, staff was GREAT but the atmosphere was a little drab.. The menu looked like it had lots of great items to choose from, so we decided to do the boneless wings with fries and the Royal flush and fries! We split everything so we could both try each item! When it came out everything looked great!!! The wings had great flavor, and the burger was good but the bottom bun was so soggy from the mushroom juice from the top of the burger so that was really disappointing because it was a great tasting burger just soggy bun killed it a little. Now mind you I have never been to other locations this was the first time here so other locations may be different. It was nice to try but I don't think we will be going back again.

Clean, cool and comfortable and a cool Las Vegas theme. A little loud but not overwhelming. We could still have a conversation without yelling at the table. Appetizer came out hot and fast. I do recommend a burger. Great flavor and cooked perfectly. I like mine rare and the wife likes hers medium rare and they were both spot on. The kiddo had chicken strips and he said they were "delicious". He was right they were. Lots of tv's for your football viewing pleasure. Don't pass on this place. You will not be disappointed. We will be going back again.
